2 men fatally shot at nightclub in Lancaster identified, 9 others hurt, officials say

LANCASTER, S.C. - The two men who were fatally shot in the shooting at a nightclub in Lancaster County Saturday morning have been identified. Nine other people were also hurt in the incident, officials said.

The shooting happened around 2:45 a.m. at Old Skool Sports Bar and Grill on Old Charlotte Road near Highway 521, according to authorities.

Henry Colvin, 39, and Aaron Harris, 38, were confirmed dead at the scene, officers said.

Four victims were airlifted to nearby hospitals and their conditions are unknown at this point, according to officials.

Officials said four other victims were treated at a local hospital for minor injuries.

An 11th victim was hurt after falling when trying to flee the club and was taken to a nearby hospital and has since been released, officers said.

"This event is very tragic and will affect all involved, for years to come," said Coroner Karla Deese. "The sheer magnitude of injury is like none I have seen in my 14 years with the Coroner's Office."

Authorities said shots were fired inside and outside the packed nightclub.

No arrests have been made at this point, they said.

"This was a violent incident of huge magnitude that was witnessed by lots of people," said Sheriff Barry Faile. "Two people are dead, and many more are seriously injured. The shooter or shooters are out there. We need to talk with everybody who was at the club when the shooting happened, and I encourage those witnesses to contact us immediately so those responsible for these deaths and injuries can be taken into custody."
