GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KJCT News)-- On Monday night the Women's Giving Club of Mesa County selected a very luck winner for their regular donation.
A local non-profit received over $20,000 of donations from the club.
Every member who came out tonight wrote a check for $100. The group has donated over $370,000 to 22 non-profits over the years.
The Glade Park Fire Department was the night's winner of this cash.
"This is a pretty large chunk of money for some of these non-profits to get and it's not part of their normal budget. So it just gives them the chance to do above and beyond for what they are working on," says member of steering committee of Giving Club, Kristin Donahue.
