Two people are dead and one is injured after a shooting at Elite Bar and Grill in Jackson early Saturday morning. Police are still searching for suspects.
Jackson Police Department officers responded to reports of a shooting at the club on Broadview Drive around 2:40 a.m., according to a JPD news release.
A large crowd of people was fleeing from the club when officers arrived. Officers found three people suffering from gunshot wounds inside the building. Two died of their injuries, and Emergency Medical Services took a third to a local hospital for treatment.
JPD has not yet identified any suspects in connection to the shooting.
