GREENVILLE – Hands Across the Darke 4-H Club held its meeting on Jan. 7 at the OSU Extension, Darke County office. The meeting was called to order by Jaimee Hoelscher and Maria Mangen.
Kylee Winner read the minutes from the previous meeting.
Kennedy gave the treasurer’s report. We received $30 from the Friendly Farmers 4-H club and $301 from helping at the Community Christmas display.
Republican Hog Roast is supposed to send us a donation, but it has not yet been received.
Thank you to Samantha, Angie, and Charity for doing the Mitten Tree at Ansonia United Methodist Church
We received $301 for helping at the Community Christmas at Harter Park in Union City. This was 25 percent of the donations received that night. Thank you to everyone that helped.
The election of officers was held: President Chloe Grilliot; Vice President Jaimee Hoelscher; Secretary/Reporter Kylee Winner; and Treasurer Cassie Keiser.
Members discussed new ideas we could do to help out the community.
After the meeting, members finished baking the cookies.
