A student organization leader talks gardening and his club's plans for the future of ASU's landscape

Jonah Ivy, a senior double majoring in civic and economic thought and leadership and spanish, is the president of Gardens at ASU. The club is dedicated to teaching students the skills they need to garden and live a more sustainable lifestyle. Ivy said not only is gardening a passion, but a healthy way of life. As the president of the club, he has a vision for the club and a hope that other students at ASU see the benefits of a plant-based lifestyle.

He said one of the main goals of the club is to transform the university's campus into an edible landscape, a way for everyone to snack on plants even on the way to class.
